Blueberry Icecream

Follow this easy blueberry muffins recipe for a fun weekend bake.

Blueberry Icecream

ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 2 cups whipping cream

instructions

  1. Puree blueberries in blender.
  2. Add blueberry mixture and sugar into a medium saucepan and stir over medium low heat, until sugar dissolves.
  3. Refrigerate mixture until cold.
  4. Add in vanilla, salt, milk, 1/2 and 1/2 and cream. Blend together..
  5. Pour into ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's directions.
  6. Freeze to allow ice cream to set up and ripen.
